Gydid-Ima-Tree Productions, Inc. started in the summer of 2006 in my small massage office.
It was my dream to help my clients relax and find relief from the everyday stress and tension they had been experiencing through massage and guided imagery.
Many of my clients told me about their stress and the inability to get a full night sleep. Some even complained about their pain associated with TMJ. Many of were clenching or grinding their jaws.
Hypnosis and guided imagery was extremely beneficial to their plight.
I felt I could help someway by assisting them in relaxation.
The first hypnosis-guided imagery script and CD I produced was “Bruxing, Relaxing Your Jaw”.
I found that it helped many of my clients to sleep deeper and wake-up virtually pain free. Simply by giving them a suggestion to leave a small space between their teeth while they sleep.
The reviews were great and so I ventured on with more hypnosis and guided imagery scripts and CDs.
I started my collaboration with Mckenna Hanson and Michael McCabe soon after.

Both Mckenna and I have trained extensively in guided-imagery-hypnosis and Neuro Linguistic Programming and between the two of us we have over 10 years of experience.
We have also used these techniques to help ourselves.
We have “been there” and know the power of these techniques.
We know that learning and practicing them can help with an assortment of issues. We also know that the more you practice, the easier they become for you. Our Bruxing CD actually came from my own experience with TMJ .
Mckenna’s favorite CD is Ultimate Confidence. This CD uses the imagery of the majestic oak tree and the Neuro Linguistic Programming technique of anchoring to access our own personal power and potential.

What is Hypnosis?
It is a focused state of concentration.
Consider this fact; each of us goes in and out of it almost every 90 minutes of our waking lives. We do this anywhere from a split second (un-noticeable to most of us) to minutes at a time.
Remember when we were children and would day dream? We just drift off and focus on one particular thing.
It is a focused state of concentration, even if you feel you are not concentrating.
It can feel like you are drifting gently into relaxation. Just like watching a movie, reading that book you have been waiting to read for so long.
It will make you feel the way you do when you hear that music that makes you stop and listen, and the way nature makes you feel when you are just in the moment.
It is a trance like state of mind that we go in and out of all through the day.
It is that dreamy state of mind that we drift into when we are just about to fall asleep.
It is our alpha state.
It is where we are able to get in touch with our subconscious mind and allow ourselves to become clearer and more mentally aware of our surroundings.
